What is an energetic definition of stress? It is our perception and response (internal beliefs and expectations) to outside events (positive or negative) that happen in daily situations. Our thoughts are very powerful and these in turn prompt feelings. The energy in motion from these feelings in turn feed the current of the initial thought. If we haven’t learned to properly respond to and release these feelings, we end up with an emotional build-up of energy that can be defined as stress.
It has been demonstrated that any impaired system will use more and more of its energy supplies in coping with the dysfunction. In other words, when we repress our stress-filled feelings, we use up huge amounts of personal energy trying to stuff our 'stuff'. We then continue to unconsciously use up our precious energy in trying to bury those memories and feelings we wish to avoid. The density of those feelings increase over time and lead to blockages that are increasingly hard to shift.
The more blockages we have in our energy system, the less life-giving force we have to nourish a healthy system of balance and wellbeing. By seeking out energy therapies in addition to self-evaluation, you can discover the answers which will allow you to make a change.
